It is an Arabic greeting used to warmly welcome loved ones at the threshold of one’s home.This work portrays a vibrant facade, rich in geometry and color of a house shaped by Arab architectural codes. The open door appeared to me in a dream, filtered through the lens of the unconscious.
The geometric motif references spirituality, while the five-pointed stars evoke the five pillars of Islam.
